She Screens Uganda Initiative is extending cervical cancer screening services to women in rural Uganda starting from eastern Uganda. Our target is to cover all regions of Uganda by 2028.

Why Cervical Cancer Screening?

Uganda ranks as the 7th country with the highest incidence of cervical cancer.

By efficiently detecting precancerous cells in the cervix or catching early stages of cervical cancer, patients can begin prompt cancer treatment. If treated early, these abnormal cells can be stopped from developing into cancer. If cervical cancer is caught at its earliest stage, the chance of survival is more than 85%.

She Screens Uganda Initiative offers life-saving cervical cancer screenings at a low cost as well as additional resources to decrease the mortality rate of cervical cancer within the female population in Uganda. Contact us today to book your next appointment.
